Payment terms:

All hires are subject to a deposit of £50 unless otherwise agreed in writing (deposit is non-refundable).

The remaining balance to be paid in full and cleared 6 weeks prior to the event start date.

Please note, if your event is within 21 days, the full balance is due to confirm the booking.

Please note that by paying the deposit or any funds to Camb Lights this means that you have read, agree and fully understand our terms & conditions listed below.

Terms & Conditions

Your booking is not confirmed until we have received your deposit.

By placing an order with us it is deemed that the customer has read, understood, fully agreed to and is bound by all our terms.

Camb Lights cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control, we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, our liability will be limited to refunding all of the monies paid.


If the booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the event date only £50 (the deposit) will be due. If the booking is cancelled within two weeks of the event date 100% of the balance will be due.


Camb Lights are responsible for all PAT testing on its equipment. If the venue requires a copy of the PAT testing certificate Camb Lights will provide this. ​

The company reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with equipment of a similar type and value without notice in the event of previous damage or loss of booked equipment.

All sizes quoted are approximate.

All goods remain the property of Camb Lights at all times.

All clients are asked not to sit on the light up letters, move them from one area to another or touch bulbs or electrics.

Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

The equipment is to be setup by Camb Lights staff only and must not be moved once the equipment is setup.

Please ensure that you have obtained permission at your venue to use our equipment.

Please let us know if there are any special requirements prior to the day of the setup. For example specific things we should know about the venue, where the equipment is going to be setup, any uneven surfaces, heights or restricted access.

Camb Lights reserve the right to remove equipment from the venue if it is felt that the equipment could be compromised or broken by patrons.


The client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

Camb Lights accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment. This is not limited to your guests.

Please contact us if you’d like a copy of our Public Liability Insurance which covers up to £2,000,000. If you or your venue require a copy of this please let us know.
